On 17 June 2012 Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey Academy hosted its annual Godiva Cup Tournament.
We are proud to have been involved in the sponsorship of the event which attracted emerging young Ice Hockey players from Milton Keynes, Oxford and Peterborough, as well of course, as the Coventry Under-14 Academy.
The event provided some 6 hours of non stop, and at times frenetic, ice hockey comprising some nail biting qualifying rounds leading up to the final which was won by Oxford.
The teams which comprise both boys and girls at the under 14 level can only get the experience required at tournaments with the sponsorship of local businesses and on this occasion we were only too pleased to be able to help.
We are looking forward to 2013 and hopefully a Coventry Blaze win.
